"All our knowledge merely helps us die a more painful death than animals that know next to nothing."

Lucky animals.

Don't forget to take care of you too!!

They are lucky but they aren't so ignorant, they surprise me every day with how in tune they are with what is going on around them.
When I am with them I forget the pain mostly and I think that makes them worthy of a peaceful passing.

Am constantly alternating between reminding myself to look after myself and forgetting to look after myself. ;P

HA! Ya, i know. That's why i changed that quote to "NEXT To Nothing" from just "nothing".
I would never call them or any animals ignorant, they all know & feel so much more than nothing. Just lucky cause they don't get to know or understand as much as us, and I've got to think that makes dieing a little bit easier, more peaceful and Hopefully somewhat less painful physically and emotionally. Of course dieing is dieing beit animal or human, but i have to hope.
Cats are very in tune, For months before my rupture, my only, late cat (button) took to insisting on laying right across my stomach whenever i was in bed, & in pain. (he had never done that before) I think he sensed something bad was going on in there & he was trying to let me know & heal it with his cat powers.

Hmmm, perhaps a reminding Post It note affixed to your glasses so you won't forget to take the time needed between the cat's and other stuff to look after you! You might look a bit silly walking around though. :)
You just gotta make the time for you sometimes...
I hope you have a Great Night!
